Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is a 2009 action role-playing game developed by h.a.n.d. and published by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS. It is part of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The plot, primarily set between the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II, follows Roxas, the Nobody of series protagonist Sora, over the first year of his existence, as he is recruited into the nefarious Organisation XIII and forms bonds with fellow members Axel and Xion. A three-hour cinematic retelling of the game, composed of high-definition cutscenes, was released in 2013 as part of the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix collection.

The game was played on The D-Pad by Rick in 2020, as the fourth game in The Heartless Let's Play. Episodes were streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube. The LP consisted of 10 episodes, released from May 31 to August 8, 2020. The film version of the game was then reviewed in the ninth episode of Movie Nights at the Roundtable, released on August 30, 2020. A D-Pad + Chill episode covering the film was released on September 12, and a final bonus episode covering the game's "secret reports" was released on September 13.
