Project Triangle Strategy is an upcoming tactical role-playing game developed by Square Enix and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch, currently scheduled for release in 2022. A spiritual successor to the 2018 game Octopath Traveler, it features a tactical battle system as opposed to the traditional RPG mechanics of the earlier game. Set in a world in which three nations battle for limited deposits of salt and iron, the player controls Serenoa, the heir of House Wolffort, commander of a group of warriors whose actions could change the course of the continent. A gameplay demo set partway through the game's story was released alongside the game's announcement on February 17, 2021. This demo was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Rick shortly after its release. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on February 24, 2021.
