Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a 2004 role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the GameCube. It is part of the Mario franchise, and the second game in the Paper Mario series. The plot follows Mario as he attempts to both rescue Princess Peach from aliens known as the X-Nauts and obtain the seven Crystal Stars, which open a mysterious portal known as the Thousand-Year Door. The game was played on The D-Pad by Rick in 2022. Episodes were streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube. The LP consisted of 7 episodes, released from February 3 to March 29, 2022.
