Mega Man 2 is a 1989 action-platform game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the sequel to Mega Man, and the second game in the Mega Man franchise. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2015, as the second weekday game in The Mega Let's Play, and the third game in the series overall. The LP consisted of 6 episodes; it began on January 29, 2015, and concluded on February 6, 2015.

In 2018, the game was revisited on the channel via the NES Classic Edition re-release of the game, as the fifth game in the series of the same name. The LP consisted of a single episode; it was released on December 6, 2018.
