The Super Sonic Let's Play

The Super Sonic Let's Play is a Franchise Play that attempts to cover every single game in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. It was announced at the end of a playthrough of the fangame Sonic Dreams Collection as part of The D-Pad's fifth anniversary celebrations on April 4, 2016. It debuted on June 20, 2016, with uploads every weekday, covering the games of the series in chronological order. Like The Dreamy Let's Play, The Super Sonic Let's Play contains live-action segments, but only for intros (with the exception of Tails' Skypatrol, which had an outro as part of the metaplot. The Super Sonic Let's Play is split into several parts, each one covering a major era in the life of the franchise; it is currently in its second part. As of May 4, 2017, 38 games (35 official Sonic games, 2 fan games, and 1 game not part of the franchise but connected by a common developer) have been played as part of the project, and a total of 230 episodes have been released.
