Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble |
Sonic the Hedgehog Chaos is a 1993 platform game developed by Aspect and published by Sega for the Master System and Game Gear. It is the third 8-bit platformer in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, serving as a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and is the first not to be based on a Sega Genesis game. The player controls either Sonic or Tails, though only Sonic can enter Special Stages and collect the Chaos Emeralds. The Game Gear version of the game was played on The D-Pad in 2016, as the ninth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 4 episodes, released on weekdays from August 22 to August 26, 2016.
The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Rick in 2022, as the third game in Sonic Weekathon II. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on June 25, 2022.
