Sonic Heroes is a 2004 platform game developed by Sonic Team USA and published by Sega. It is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and a sequel to Sonic Adventure 2. The game features four storylines, each centered around a different three-person team, with each team containing a "speed", "fly", and "power" character. The same levels are played by all four teams, but with differing levels of difficulty and objectives. The GameCube version of the game was played by The D-Pad in 2019, as the sixty-first game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 59 episodes; it began on October 9, 2019, and concluded on February 10, 2020.

The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Rick in 2023, as the third game in Sonic Weekathon III Adventure. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on July 8, 2023.

• The Sonic Heroes LP was put on hiatus after the final episode of the Team Dark run to make way for the then-newly-released Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Prototype. Following the completion of that game, Sonic Heroes resumed with new episodes covering the remainder of the game.
