The Super Sonic Let's Play
Preceded by Sonic Rumble

Sonic Superstars is a 2023 platform game developed by Arzest and Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. It is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and a 2.5D take on the formula of the classic early 90s games in the series, similar to Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II. The plot, set between Sonic Mania and Sonic Adventure, follows Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy as they attempt to defeat Doctor Eggman and Fang the Hunter. New additions to the series include four-player co-op within levels, and a unique power unlocked for each Chaos Emerald collected. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was played on The D-Pad upon its release, as the eighty-sixth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP began on July 4, 2024.
