Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble is a 1994 platform game developed by Aspect and published by Sega for the Game Gear. It is the fourth 8-bit platformer in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog Chaos. Like in that game, players can control either Sonic or Tails. The story centers on Sonic and Tails' attempts to stop three antagonists from obtaining the Chaos Emeralds; Dr. Robotnik, Knuckles (who has once again been tricked by the former), and a newly-introduced character, a treasure hunter known as either Nack the Weasel or Fang the Sniper, depending on the region. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2016, as the sixteenth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 5 episodes, released on weekdays from November 1 to November 4, 2016.
The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Rick in 2022, as the fourth game in Sonic Weekathon II. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on June 26, 2022.
