Sonic Labyrinth is a 1995 action-puzzle game developed by Minato Giken and published by Sega for the Game Gear. It is unique among Sonic games, as Sonic is unable to either run fast or jump, explained in the plot as him being tricked into wearing shoes that take away his speed by Dr. Robotnik. The player controls Sonic through a number of maze-like stages searching for keys that will allow him to proceed, with the ultimate goal of finding the Chaos Emeralds and using them to return his speed. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2017, as the twenty-ninth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 5 episodes; 4 covering the main game and a bonus episode covering the game's extra stage, released on weekdays from February 20 to February 22, 2017.

The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Rick in 2022, as the twelfth game in Sonic Weekathon II. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on July 4, 2022.
