This page is about the Game.com title. For the Sega Saturn game of the same name, see Sonic Jam.

Sonic Jam is a 1998 platform game developed and published by Tiger Electronics for the Game.com. It is a spin-off in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Although it shares a name with the 1997 Sega Saturn game Sonic Jam, the content of the game is completely different. It features a handful of levels inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and Sonic & Knuckles, and the ability to play as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles (albeit without his gliding and wall climbing abilities). The game was played by The D-Pad in 2017, as the forty-first game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of a single episode; it was released on May 16, 2017.

Trivia

  • Due to the status of Sonic Jam as one of the worst, most obscure titles in the entire franchise, the true nature of the LP was concealed on its initial upload, with the episode being erroneously labelled as the premiere of the Sonic Adventure LP.
