Chao Adventure is a 1999 minigame for the Visual Memory Unit of the Dreamcast. It connects with Sonic Adventure, and allows for the training of Chao through a number of different minigames. The game was played by The D-Pad in 2017 as the forty-third game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. A single episode was released on August 3, 2017 - due to the nature of the Chao system, this video actually contains more gameplay footage from Sonic Adventure than it does from Chao Adventure.

  |ShortSummary = In a live-action intro, Rick and John explore the inspiration for and history of the Chao and their role in Sonic Adventure. In the aforementioned game, Rick heads to a Chao Garden in Station Square and hatches a Chao, which he names Ocho. John takes over the controller for a run through Emerald Coast to collect animals for Ocho to play with - upon completing the stage and bringing them back, Ocho gains stats in a number of areas. In a live-action interlude, the two introduce Chao Adventure and begin the game. Rick succeeds at an image-matching minigame, but is unable to do anything with the rest of the menu options due to emulation and the lack of a second game to connect with.
