Sonic Mania Plus is a 2018 platform game developed by Headcannon and PagodaWest Games and published by Sega for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and an updated re-release of the 2017 game Sonic Mania, adding new playable characters Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel, a new "Encore Mode", and an expanded multiplayer mode. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was played on The D-Pad upon its release, as the fifty-second game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 18 episodes; 17 covering Encore Mode and a bonus episode covering the multiplayer Competition Mode, released on weekdays from July 21 to August 17, 2018.
