Tails Adventure is a 1995 platform game developed by Aspect and published by Sega for the Game Gear. The game features Tails as the main character, as he defeats the numerous enemies inhabiting Tails Island. Compared to the gameplay of other Sonic games, it is notably slower-paced, with a focus on non-linear exploration and collecting permanent upgrades to release new areas, reminiscent of Super Metroid. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2017, as the twenty-eighth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 13 episodes, released on weekdays from February 6 to February 17, 2017.
The game was revisited on The D-Pad in a one-off episode by Rick in 2022, as the fifth game in Sonic Weekathon II. The episode was streamed live on the dpadfm Twitch account before being uploaded to YouTube on June 27, 2022.
