- This page is about the 8-bit game. For the Sega Genesis version, see Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball.
Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball is a 1994 pinball game developed by Sega Technical Institute and published by Sega for the Master System and Game Gear. It is an 8-bit port of the 16-bit Sega Genesis title Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball, a spin-off in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. It retains almost the exact same stages and gameplay as the original version, but with alternate bonus stages. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2018, as the fifty-fourth game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 4 episodes, released on weekdays from October 16 to October 19, 2018.

Trivia
- The 8-bit Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball was played out-of-sequence in The Super Sonic Let's Play, beginning over two years after the LP of the original Genesis version. According to Rick, it was skipped due to the group being burnt out on Spinball after completing the Genesis version, as well a number of other bad or frustrating games that had been played on the channel recently. The LP ultimately appeared in late 2018, shortly before the LP of the only other Sonic pinball game, Sonic Pinball Party.
