Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is a 1993 puzzle game developed by Compile and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It is a spin-off in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, based on the Japanese falling block puzzle game Puyo Puyo. The game, only released outside of Japan, replaces the Puyo Puyo characters with those from the animated TV series Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog in an attempt to appeal more to Western audiences. The game was played on The D-Pad in 2016, as the eleventh game in The Super Sonic Let's Play. The LP consisted of 13 episodes, released on weekdays from September 8 to September 22, 2016.

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is one of the forty-two games included in the Sega Genesis Mini dedicated console. This version of the game was played on The D-Pad in a one-off episode in 2019, as the thirtieth game in their Sega Genesis Mini series. The episode was released on December 13, 2019.
