240 | 1 | "Station Square Central Station" | 19:24 | C/J | Rick, John | 23 May 2017
In a live-action intro, Rick and John prepare to finally introduce Sonic Adventure, after making sure Ben isn't going to return to stop them. They discuss the difficult position SEGA was in in the late 1990s, the origins of the Dreamcast, and the game's premise, graphics, characters and music. In the actual game, Rick, John, and C/J watch the intro before C/J takes control of Sonic to defeat Chaos 0 in the intro stage. He then confirms that it is possible to drown Sonic in the initial hotel hub area before entering the first true level - Emerald Coast. He immediately dies to the first enemy, and then easily completes the level on his second attempt. As a result, Tails is unlocked as a playable character. C/J heads through Station Square and gets on the train leading to the Mystic Ruins.
241 | 2 | "Thank You, Panel Spirit" | 16:14 | C/J | Rick, John | 23 May 2017
C/J faces off against the Egg Hornet, as the group debate Robotnik/Eggman's true name. After making extremely quick work of the boss, Eggman steals Tails' Chaos Emerald to turn Chaos 0 into Chaos 1, then leaves. C/J heads back to Station Square and briefly becomes lost, before realizing that he was meant to remain in the Mystic Ruins. There, he finds the Wind Stone and carries it around searching for the correct place to put it, briefly entering the Chao Garden by mistake on the way. He eventually finds the right spot and unlocks the second stage, Windy Valley, but quickly falls to his death, resulting in a conversation about the strengths and weaknesses of modern Sonic level design, followed by a debate over whether bottomless pits existed in the Genesis games. Once again, C/J has no problems on his second attempt and quickly reaches the end of the stage.
242 | 3 | "We Have Zero Balls" | 16:52 | C/J, John | Rick | 24 May 2017
C/J returns to Station Square, where he enters a sewer and obtains Light Speed Shoes, which allow him to use the Light Speed Dash after storing up power. He continues to explore the area, finding a newly-accessible room in a hotel that contains a Crystal Ring, reducing the amount of time to store power for the dash. He uses his newfound ability to open the third stage, Casinopolis, where the group become thoroughly confused by a number of different pinball-themed minigames. After spending some time trying to enter a secret passage on the pinball table, C/J obtains 400 rings, allowing him to access the Chaos Emerald at the end of the stage and complete it. Immediately afterwards, the Emerald is stolen in a cutscene, and C/J hands the control over to John.
243 | 4 | "Maybe Now It's Time" | 17:29 | John | Rick, C/J | 25 May 2017
John finds the Ice Stone in Station Square and takes it back to the Mystic Ruins, where he uses it to open the entrance to Icecap. He climbs through an icy cave and reaches an outside segment where he has to escape an avalanche using a snowboard. The snowboarding segment lasts for some time, but John eventually reaches the end and obtains another Chaos Emerald. Returning to the Mystic Ruins, he is attacked by Knuckles and easily defeats him, but loses the Emeralds to Eggman, resulting in a boss fight against Chaos 4. After getting confused by taking damage for no apparent reason during the fight, John beats Chaos 4, and unlocks Knuckles as a playable character.
244 | 5 | "Person the Man" | 16:30 | John | Rick, C/J | 26 May 2017
John plays through a special stage where he controls the Tornado chasing after Eggman, but is shot down after completing it and returned to Station Square. He meets (and unlocks) Amy, and then enters the fifth level, Twinkle Park - a stage with a bumper car-themed gimmick. The level causes significant problems for John, who dies several times to the bumper car-driving enemies who chase after him. He eventually manages to get through the segment and reach the more straightforward second part of the level. He completes the rest of the level with few problems, and exits the park to return to Station Square once more.
245 | 6 | "Loose and Soupy" | 16:53 | Ben | Rick, John, Meg, Lindsay | 31 May 2017
Ben takes control of the game and wanders around Station Square, unsure of where to go next. He accidentally enters Casinopolis and becomes stuck there, with no exit to be found. After deliberately failing at a pinball table he is thrown into the sewer area of the level. He goes through it and emerges in the casino area once more, where he decides to simply exit the level through the menu. Back in Station Square, he picks up the employee card that was drop upon completion of Twinkle Park and uses it to enter a new level, Speed Highway. Ben dies during the level by falling off the side of the road, but makes it through on his second try.
246 | 7 | "If Only That Monkey Guard Wasn't There" | 21:09 | Ben | Rick, John, Meg, Lindsay | 1 June 2017
After viewing a cutscene where Amy is captured and taken away, Ben heads to a new area in the Mystic Ruins, where he obtains the Ancient Light. He uses his new Light Speed Attack to defeat the monkey guarding the entrance of stage 7, Red Mountain. The rest of the group get confused by Goji and talk about their plans for the future goals on the channel's Patreon account as Ben plays through the level. He reaches the end of the stage, which leads directly into a second Sky Chase stage, where Sonic and Tails fight the Egg Carrier in the sky. Ben ultimately defeats the boss and completes the level, allowing them to land on the Egg Carrier.
247 | 8 | "He's Got No Bones" | 14:15 | Ben | Rick, John, Meg, Lindsay | 1 June 2017
Ben enters the eighth stage, Sky Deck. He falls to his death several times early on in the stage, and becomes increasingly confused and frustrated with the level after running into several glitches and a series of sudden, unexplained mechanics appearing out of nowhere. John suggests the dated nature of the game compared to its release in 1999 as a reason for its seemingly poor quality. Ben manages to make some decent progress in the level, but is surprised when the Egg Carrier turns around mid-flight, changing the gravity of the stage and causing him to fall back down, losing several minutes of progress. He eventually climbs back up through the area and reaches a check point.
248 | 9 | "Oh, There Goes Gravity" | 17:40 | Ben | Rick, John, Meg, Lindsay | 3 June 2017
Ben continues through Sky Deck, but falls off a platform and returns to the area with the changed gravity. He climbs back up to where he was before, only to fall yet again and have to climb back up a third time. Here, he finally succeeds in following the path and reaches the end of the level. Exploring a new, indoors area of the Egg Carrier, he finds another Chao Garden (which he ignores), and many locked doors. He heads back outside using a platform, leading him to a cutscene and an underwhelming fight against E-102 Gamma, who is unlocked as a playable character afterwards. Ben heads to the front of the ship and faces a more challenging boss fight against Chaos 6, which he eventually wins. This is followed by another cutscene, during which Sonic jumps off the ship after Eggman.
249 | 10 | "Take the Snake" | 17:30 | John | Rick, Ben, Meg, Lindsay | 4 June 2017
Sonic lands in the Mystic Ruins, where the entrance to a large temple opens, and Big is unlocked as a playable character. John takes over from Ben and enters the temple, which contains the ninth stage - Lost World. He dies early on, but gets further into the level on his next try. However, he becomes frustrated, first with a very slow segment that requires Sonic to ride snake-like platforms around a large, water-filled room, and later with an awkward to control area which involves carefully walking along walls on a set path. Eventually, after over 13 minutes spent in the stage, John reaches the end.
250 | 11 | "What Is an Egg Pirate?" | 28:58 | John | Rick, Ben, Lindsay | 5 June 2017
John watches several more cutscenes and explores a new area before entering stage 10, Final Egg, a long level composed of several different areas. He runs into some trouble in the stage, at one point falling to his death through a gap between an elevator and the platform, but ultimately makes it to the end. He battles the boss of the stage, the Egg Viper, and almost defeats it on his first try, but is knocked off the platform by an attack and killed. On the second attempt he succeeds in beating the boss, completing Sonic's storyline. The group watch the credits and speculate on how many episodes it will take to complete the entirety of the game.
Miles "Tails" Prower | ||||||||||||
251 | 12 | "Start Playing the Funky Music" | 16:40 | Ben | Rick, John, Lindsay, Dave | 6 June 2017
Ben begins the second of the game's six interlocking stories, this time controlling Tails. He views the opening cutscenes, beginning at the point where Tails crashes the Tornado, then heads from Station Square to Mystic Ruins and defeats the Egg Hornet in a boss fight. Dave tells a story about an uncomfortable encounter on public transport as Ben looks for the Wind Stone, eventually finding it and using it to enter Windy Valley. Despite falling off the stage and dying a few times for seemingly no reason, Ben eventually gets to the end, beating Sonic in the race. He exits the stage and gets back on the train to Station Square.
252 | 13 | "Give It Your Be--Oh No" | 21:03 | Ben | Rick, John, Lindsay, Dave | 7 June 2017
Ben enters the second stage, Casinopolis, and has no problem beating it. The group briefly get confused after Ben picks up the Ice Stone, but quickly remember that it needs to be taken to the Mystic Ruins. Ben heads there, and enters a "rock cloaca" leading to a tunnel that contains the entrance to Icecap, which in Tails' story consists solely of a snowboarding race against Sonic. After clearing the level he gets lost again, heading back and forth between Station Square and Mystic Ruins several times before finding Knuckles. After defeating Knuckles and then Chaos 4, Ben heads towards the Tornado.
253 | 14 | "Some Kind of Colon Things" | 19:13 | Ben, Dave | Rick, Lindsay | 8 June 2017
Ben clears the first Sky Chase stage easily. After the Tornado is shot down, the group watch a cutscene of Tails' origin before beginning to investigate the Mystic Ruins for the next area. Ben gets in a mine cart and heads to the deep area of the ruins containing the temple. He spends a long time searching the surrounding jungle for a Chaos Emerald, to no avail. Eventually, he gets fed up and hands the control over to Dave. Dave is similarly unable to find anything, until Rick finally looks up the solution - entering a tunnel in the temple area. The group find a pathway and believe it is the correct route, until they realize to their frustration that it is actually a Knuckles-only area.
254 | 15 | "An Ancient Civilization of Punching Echidnas" | 13:43 | Dave | Rick, Ben, Lindsay | 9 June 2017
Dave suddenly and unexpectedly finds the Chaos Emerald, only for it to be stolen by Froggy in a cutscene. He heads through Sand Hill, a special sandboarding level, and finds Froggy at the end, beginning a cutscene that briefly sends Tails back in time to the echidna civilization. While there, he finds a Rhythm Badge that allows Tails to perform spin attacks and briefly meets Tikal before being returned to reality. In another series of cutscenes, Tails builds an improved version of the Tornado and heads to Red Mountain to pick up Sonic, leading into the second Sky Chase level. Dave completes the stage, and lands on the Egg Carrier.
255 | 16 | "This Must Be the Sky Deck" | 11:57 | Dave | Rick, Ben, Lindsay | 12 June 2017
After a few more cutscenes, Dave enters the much shorter Tails version of Sky Deck and completes it fairly easily, taking him to the indoor portion of the Egg Carrier. He then uses the platform to head back outside for even more cutscenes and the simple boss fight with E-102 Gamma. After this, all of the characters leave the exploding Egg Carrier. Tails and Amy return to Station Square, where Amy leaves. Eggman reappears, planning to detonate a missile.
256 | 17 | "This Egg Can Walk" | 12:09 | Dave | Rick, Ben, Lindsay | 13 June 2017
Dave enters Speed Highway, which takes the form of a race against Eggman to get to the missile. Upon its completion, Eggman appears in the Egg Walker for the final boss of Tails' story. Dave is able to defeat him without much trouble, and during another series of cutscenes Tails leaves the city and heads back to the Mystic Ruins to meet up with Sonic, completing the second of the game's stories. The group watch the credits and remark on the short length of Tails' story compared to Sonic's. Rick notes that they have reached the halfway point, game-wise, of The Super Sonic Let's Play, and upon hearing the number of games left Lindsay comes up with a plan to "use magic" to destroy all copies of the remaining games.
Knuckles the Echidna | ||||||||||||
257 | 18 | "Punch You with My Flight" | 16:15 | Ben | Rick, John, Lindsay | 14 June 2017
Ben watches the opening of Knuckles' story, in which the Master Emerald is destroyed by Chaos and Knuckles vows to find the missing pieces. Once Ben has control, he heads to City Hall, beginning Speed Highway. He finds the first of three Emerald shards early on, then gets lost for a while before tracking down the other two, completing the stage. Back in Station Square he has some trouble opening the entrance to Casinopolis, but eventually figures it out and enters the second level. Ben easily grabs two Emerald shards, then spends a while longer searching for the third and final one before finding it.
258 | 19 | "Three Fucking Tiles" | 15:20 | Ben | Rick, John, Lindsay | 16 June 2017
In a cutscene, Knuckles has a vision of the echidna civilization in the past, before being returned to the casino. The group comment on the weird, glitchy appearance of a passed-out Sonic and Tails outside the entrance. Ben continues through another cutscene, leading to a fight against Chaos 2, after which he is automatically sent to the Mystic Ruins. Ben spends some time wandering around the area, confused as to where to go next, before eventually finding the Shovel Claw in a cave. A gate locks him in the cave, but he is able to use his new ability to dig up a "monkey destruction switch" to escape.
259 | 20 | "Bush Bouncing" | 20:59 | Ben | Rick, John, Lindsay | 16 June 2017
Ben carries the "monkey destruction switch" to the other end of the Mystic Ruins to get rid of the monkey guarding the entrance to Red Mountain, the third stage. In the stage, he is confused by a hint at the beginning that tells the player to look underground for Emeralds, despite the fact that all three of them are above ground. After grabbing them and completing the level, he heads back to the entrance of the Mystic Ruins and plays Knuckles' point of view of the fight with Sonic and Tails, followed by the fight with Chaos 4. Ben then heads to the jungle area, where he finds a gold key. A silver key is located in the dig spot they encountered during Tails' story; Ben takes them both to their place on the temple and opens Lost World. He easily completes the level, then views several more cutscenes: Knuckles has another vision of the past, is returned to the Master Emerald's shrine, attempts to repair the Emerald with the twelve shards he collected only to discover there are still parts missing, and then sees a vision of the Egg Carrier in the incomplete Emerald. E-102 Gamma appears nearby, and Knuckles decides to follow him to find the Carrier.
260 | 21 | "Astro Man's Bedroom" | 15:36 | Ben | Rick, John | 19 June 2017
Ben heads to the other side of the jungle in the Mystic Ruins, where he boards the Egg Carrier. He explores a number of odd rooms in the area, including a swimming pool, a bedroom and a games room, before eventually finding the entrance to the next stage, Sky Deck. The level features a mechanic where a level must be used to tilt the entire ship in a direction in order to access one of the fragments. After figuring this out, Ben finds the other two shards with ease and completes the stage. In a cutscene, Knuckles has another brief vision of the past - afterwards, he is returned to the swimming pool room. Ben regains control of the game and heads outside to the deck.
261 | 22 | "Sometimes He Punches" | 15:11 | Ben | Rick, John | 20 June 2017
Ben faces Chaos 6 in a boss fight, but has a lot of trouble getting the game to register that he has picked up the enemies that need to be thrown into the boss. After dying on his first few attempts, he manages to the defeat the boss. In a cutscene, Knuckles repairs the Master Emerald with the final three shards, and the floating island returns to the sky, although the group express confusion as to why much of Knuckles' story goes completely unexplained. The three watch the credits, and John deems the first half of the game to be "sloppy, but still fun."
Amy Rose | ||||||||||||
262 | 23 | "Face Bones" | 15:57 | Lindsay | Rick, John, Dustin, Ben | 10 July 2017
Rick, John, Ben, Lindsay and Dustin begin Amy's story, watching the opening cutscene. The group are surprised when Lindsay seems to pick up and carry around an old man in Station Square, but it turns out to just be a statue. She reaches some more cutscenes, and eventually begins the first stage, Twinkle Park. All of Amy's stages involve running away from an attacking robot; Lindsay quickly becomes annoyed with the slow movement speed, camera and controls. After dying several times, she successfully completes the stage, but has become so frustrated with the game that the rest of the group consider handing the control over to someone else.
263 | 24 | "Push the Sexual Button" | 18:39 | Ben | Rick, John, Lindsay | 11 July 2017
In a cutscene, Amy is captured by the robot immediately after leaving Twinkle Park and taken to the Egg Carrier. There, she meets Gamma, who releases her from her cell. Ben, now controlling the game, heads through the area, completing a minigame in order to receive the Warrior Feather, an upgrade which allows Amy to perform a Spin Hammer Attack. He then heads further into the ship, and enters the next stage, Hot Shelter. In the level, he dies several times due to glitched terrain, but eventually makes it to a section where he must place several blocks in specific spots while dodging the robot. He is unable to find the final block for the puzzle, and accidentally falls down a bottomless pit after jumping on a spring.
264 | 25 | "Gameless Aimplay" | 17:00 | Ben | Rick, John, Lindsay | 12 July 2017
Ben receives a game over and is forced to play the entirety of Hot Shelter again to get back to where he was. After reaching the puzzle again, he finds the final block and opens the door to complete the stage. A cutscene follows in which Amy ends up in the echidna civilization in the past. Ben wanders around the area aimlessly for several minutes, with no clear idea of where to go. Rick eventually looks up the solution and finds that is involves simply turning around and walking out the way they came in, to the group's disbelief. After another cutscene, Amy is returned to the Egg Carrier.
265 | 26 | "Gamma Rho Oopsilon" | 14:46 | Ben | Rick, John | 13 July 2017
Ben views a cutscene showing Amy's perspective of the events with Sonic, Tails and Gamma on the Egg Carrier. Amy is returned to Station Square by Tails, and sets off on her own to the Mystic Ruins to find the bird's family. Ben heads to the deep part of the ruins, which eventually leads him to the Final Egg stage. He falls to his death down an elevator shaft early on, but completes the level on the second attempt. Afterwards, a cutscene shows Amy deciding to search the Egg Carrier for the bird's family, confusing the group. Not entirely sure where to go next, they exit the Final Egg area and head back through the jungle.
266 | 27 | "Did She Learn from Birds?" | 15:06 | Ben | Rick, John | 14 July 2017
Ben tries to locate the crash site of the Egg Carrier, searching Station Square for it to no avail. Rick looks up the location, discovering it is accessed by getting on a raft at the entrance to the Mystic Ruins. This immediately leads to an underwhelming boss fight against Zero, which Ben manages to win. The group watches the final cutscene and credits of Amy's story while discussing the rest of the game, noting that they are all dreading the upcoming Big the Cat story.
Big the Cat | ||||||||||||
267 | 28 | "Not a Lot of Action" | 16:43 | Rick | John, Ben, Lindsay | 17 July 2017
Rick begins Big's story, watching the opening cutscenes and then following Froggy into a sewer underneath Station Square. The entire group make fun of Big's voice acting, as well his buggy interactions with the terrain. The sewer leads to the first level, Twinkle Park. Big's stages involve fishing in a body of water to catch Froggy; failing an attempt to catch a fish results in the loss of a life. Rick spends a long time unsuccessfully trying to catch the frog due to the buggy fishing mechanics, but eventually reels him in, completing the stage.
268 | 29 | "Why Is There a Whole Level?" | 16:36 | Rick | John, Ben, Lindsay | 18 July 2017
Rick returns to Station Square, where he picks up a lure upgrade and the Ice Stone, which he carries to the Mystic Ruins. After using the stone to open an ice cave, he finds the Life Float, allowing him to float in water, then enters Icecap. Rick becomes lost in the stage, unsure of where Froggy is located. Eventually, John looks up the solution and finds to the group's amazement that Froggy is located under the ice at the very beginning, and that the rest of the level is completely pointless in Big's story. Rick heads back to the start and catches Froggy.
269 | 30 | "Wolfenvania Castlestein" | 14:30 | Rick, John | C/J, Ben, Lindsay | 19 July 2017
Rick exits the ice caves and views a cutscene in which Froggy is lost yet again. He heads back to Station Square, briefly passing Sonic along the way. C/J enters the house and Rick suggests he take over, but he isn't ready, resulting in the control being handed to John instead. John enters Emerald Coast, and begins looking for a lure upgrade at Rick's suggestion, but is unable to find it even after searching a large chunk of the stage. Rick takes the control back while Ben looks up the solution, and they discover that there is no upgrade to be found in the level. Again, Rick heads to Froggy's location and catches him.
270 | 31 | "Fat Magic" | 13:57 | C/J | Rick, John, Ben, Lindsay | 20 July 2017
C/J takes control of the game. After a cutscene, Big ends up on the Egg Carrier. C/J enters a door that leads to Hot Shelter and plays through the entirety of the stage, catching Froggy at the end of it. Big goes to the past in another cutscene, briefly encountering Tikal and the Chaos Emeralds, before returning to the Egg Carrier. C/J grabs a lure upgrade from inside one of the prison cells, then gets lost for a moment trying to find the way to proceed, eventually figuring it out and getting on the monorail to a different area of the ship.
271 | 32 | "The Grossest Money Shot I've Ever Seen" | 11:12 | C/J | Rick, John, Ben, Lindsay | 21 July 2017
C/J reaches the top of the Egg Carrier, where a cutscene leads into the boss fight against Chaos 6. To the group's surprise, C/J is able to fish Froggy out of Chaos on his first attempt, ending the fight almost instantly. They watch the final cutscenes, in which Big escapes the Egg Carrier on his own and returns to the jungle with Froggy, and the credits.
E-102 Gamma | ||||||||||||
272 | 33 | "I'm Going to Make It Worse" | 15:38 | John | Rick, Ben | 24 July 2017
The group begin the last of the six stories, E-102 Gamma's. After the opening cutscene, John heads straight into the first level, Final Egg, where he quickly runs off a cliff to his death while trying to shoot a Sonic doll. He is more successful on his second try, completing the stage. Next, John faces a very simple boss fight against E-101 Beta. Following this and another cutscene, Gamma is sent to Station Square to look for Froggy, and John enters the second level, Emerald Coast. Again, John finishes the stage extremely quickly. Gamma then is taken to the past and meets Tikal, before returning to the Egg Carrier and presenting Eggman with Froggy.
273 | 34 | "Hello, Pink Girl-Shaped Animal" | 12:30 | John | Rick, Ben | 25 July 2017
John watches a few more cutscenes, during which Gamma lets Amy out of her cell, then continues exploring the Egg Carrier. He finds the Jet Booster upgrade, then heads to the top of the ship for an extremely short fight against Sonic, followed by Gamma's perspective of the cutscene where everyone flees the Egg Carrier. Gamma lands in the Mystic Ruins, and decides to take care of the rest of the E-series robots.
274 | 35 | "Rescue / Destroy" | 10:00 | John | Rick, Ben | 26 July 2017
John grabs the Wind Stone and uses it to enter Windy Valley, rushing through the level with no problems and defeating E-103 Delta at the end of it. He then heads straight to Red Mountain and similarly destroys E-104 Epsilon. John then goes back to the entrance of the Mystic Ruins and sets off for the ruins of the Egg Carrier, but accidentally falls off the raft and dies, sending him back to the interior of the caves.
275 | 36 | "Flaccid as All Get-Out" | 15:58 | John | Rick, Ben | 27 July 2017
John reaches the Egg Carrier and finds his way to the entrance to Hot Shelter. He gets through a decent amount of the stage before falling to his death down a bottomless pit. He gets a bit further on his next attempt, but gets stuck trying to activate a switch, and runs out of time. The group create the character of "Jorgensen" as John makes his third attempt. Beset by buggy physics, an extended train-riding segment, and waves of enemies, John passes a check point with seconds to spare on his timer, only to realize that he is out of lives and will get a game over, erasing his progress anyway. He restarts the level from the beginning, but has much better luck this time, making it to the end easily and destroying E-105 Zeta.
276 | 37 | "Depression Loudly" | 15:21 | John | Rick, Ben, Lindsay | 28 July 2017
Lindsay returns from a nap as John heads to the front of the Egg Carrier and begins the boss fight with E-101 Mk. II. He starts the fight off well, but E-101 goes too long without making himself vulnerable to attack, and John eventually runs out of time. He succeeds in defeating the boss on his second try. In a final cutscene, both E-101 and Gamma are destroyed, freeing the birds trapped inside them and bringing an end to Gamma's story. The group watch the game's credits for the sixth time.
Super Sonic | ||||||||||||
277 | 38 | "Neon Murder Hill Zone" | 16:25 | John | Rick, Ben, Lindsay | 31 July 2017
The group begin the game's seventh, hidden story, taking place after the conclusion of the first six, and watch the opening cutscenes. Controlling Sonic, John heads from the entrance of the Mystic Ruins to the location of the Master Emerald. More cutscenes ensue, and Sonic is briefly taken back to the past, before returning and deciding to look for the last Chaos Emerald. None of the group pay attention to Tails' directions, leading to John mistakenly going to Station Square and accidentally entering Speed Highway. The harder challenge version of the stage requires the collection of 50 rings to complete; despite getting hit several times throughout the level, John is able to just barely get enough at the very end of the stage.
278 | 39 | "It Wasn't That Hard" | 19:56 | John | Rick, Ben, Lindsay | 1 August 2017
John heads to the crashed Tornado 2 just in time for Chaos to steal the seventh Emerald. A long series of cutscenes ensues, in which Perfect Chaos destroys the city and drains the power of the Emeralds. Eggman briefly appears in a second Egg Carrier, but is quickly shot down. The rest of the game's playable characters appear and bring Sonic the Chaos Emeralds, allowing him to turn into Super Sonic. John begins the fight against Perfect Chaos, which requires Sonic to enter the boss at a sufficiently fast speed in order to deal damage. He is able to defeat the first phase relatively easily, but has trouble finishing off the second phase, leading to him running out of rings and dying. His second and third attempts at the fight are similarly unsuccessful.
279 | 40 | "All's Well That Ends Well" | 17:13 | John | Rick, Ben, Lindsay | 2 August 2017
John attempts the Perfect Chaos fight another time and gets close to defeating it, but is knocked back to attacks too much and dies with only one hit left to go on the boss. Rejecting Lindsay's offer to attempt the battle once, he tries again and this time is able to finally defeat it. The final cutscenes of the game begin, and the group make fun of their poor writing, especially the fact that the characters seem to completely disregard the fact that the city was destroyed by Chaos. The credits roll for a seventh and final time, putting an end to Sonic Adventure. |
