Team Sonic Racing is a 2019 racing game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Sega. It is a spin-off in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and a follow-up to Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, two prior racing games also developed by Sumo Digital. Unlike those two games, Team Sonic Racing only contains Sonic the Hedgehog characters, with no other Sega franchises represented. A demo version of the game was played by The D-Pad at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018. The LP was preceded by an episode of A Brief History that covers the console war from Sega's perspective, and which ends with Rick and John about to enter E3, but due to various delays this was not uploaded until June 25, 2018, long after the release of the sole episode covering the demo on June 14, 2018.
