Team Sonic Racing Overdrive is a 2019 animated web series based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. The series was directed by Tyson Hesse, creator of the cutscenes from Sonic Mania, and the previous animated series Sonic Mania Adventures. It is a promotional series for the game Team Sonic Racing. It ran for two episodes released in March and April of 2019. The series was covered by The D-Pad in 2019, in a series of D-Pad + Chill videos as part of The Super Sonic Let's Play. The series consisted of 2 episodes, one for each episode of the series; it began on April 27, 2019, and concluded on April 28, 2019.
